Feature film development

Thank you for visiting our site for feature film development.

'Step Into the Silent Land' is a psychological drama about identical twin girls Rachel and Sarah (16).  The feature film is being developed from a short film 'Into the Silent Land' which we shot at Happisburgh Lighthouse, Norfolk two years ago. The film took us over a year to complete, with trips to Seattle to get the 16mm footage processed (yes it was cheaper to fly to Seattle and stay in a youth hostel  than to process the stock in London). So that is what I did. I did find some time to go whale watching so it wasn't all work whilst in the wonderful city of Seattle.

Since then the film was sold at The Short Film Corner, Cannes and is currently enjoy a festival circuit. It will be screening as part of the Aesthetica Film Festival in York (Nov 8th-11th) which i'm thrilled about.

So with the feature film I'm been busy working with colleagues to develop the story and explore what I really want to say with this film.... this is taking longer than I thought!

But today I installed Final Draft on my mac and this weekend I am starting to write the screenplay.

This is my favourite still from the short film...
